Our Hostel

The Dearly Koh Tao Hostel combines the facilities of a luxury hotel with a friendly and easy-going atmosphere of a hostel. We offer travelers from all over the world clean, comfortable, and affordable shared and private accommodations.

We believe in exploring and taking on new adventures, discovering the local culture, and having a good time while making new friends along the way.

Our Property

The Dearly Koh Tao Hostel was built with a purpose to be in one with nature. Our property was carefully designed to be energy-efficient, considering the source of natural sunlight, the ventilation, and the direction of the wind.

We are a self-sustaining property as we produce our own water from rain and underground water and electricity from solar panels and power generator. We are proud to say that we always have 24 hours of running water and electricity! Unfortunately, obtaining these basic utilities from the government is rather difficult and very unstable as Koh Tao is lack of subsidiary support.

Our property has three parts. The main building is a four-story building accessible by stairs and ramp. The Hide & Seek building is a two-story building, tucked away in the forests, two minutes walk from the main building through the pool and garden area. The two bedrooms villa is overlooking the pool. We are proud to say that we are among the very few properties on the island to receive the official hotel license granted from the state.
